DEATH CERTIFICATIONAt the Regular Monthly Meeting of Council held on 11th October 2017, it was agreed to notify all Board Members that failure to view a deceased body before issuing an official death certificate can be construed as direct contravention of the Medical Board Act (1960).As a result, all Board Members are hereby cautioned that a death certificate should only be issued after viewing and ascertaining cause of death of the deceased.
