Provisional Registration Requirements
• ORIGINAL certified copy of letter from the Dean of Medical School indicating success at the final examination/M.B.,B.S. degree (in English).
• ORIGINAL certified copy of satisfactory evidence of identity (passport or national identification card).
• Curriculum Vitae.
• TT$630.00 (non-refundable processing fee applicable to foreign nationals via Personal Cheque or Bank Draft payable to MEDICAL BOARD OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO).
Registration Fee of TT$300.00 (via Bank Draft or Personal Cheque payable to MEDICAL BOARD OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO).
• Completed application form with two (2) passport photographs (instructions included on form).
• Job offer from the Ministry of Health (where applicable).
• IELTS Examination (Academic Module) 7.0 Minimum Band applicable to applicants whose native language is not English AND medium of instruction not English. Statement of Recognition from the Accreditation Council of T&T.
• Appearance before Council at any one of our Regular Monthly Meetings.
• ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE OFFICE OF MBTT UPON ARRIVAL IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO BEFORE REGISTRATION CAN BE FINALISED.
In addition to the List of requirements for Provisional Registration and the IELTS exam is required from individuals whose:
Native language is NOT ENGLISH AND Language of instruction at the Medical University/College is NOT ENLGISH
Also, applicants must demonstrate success at either one of the following examinations:
• Caribbean Association of Medical Councils (CAMC) Part I

Please note the CAMC Part I will be accepted, however, CAMC Part II must be successfully completed before the candidate is considered for further registration.Kindly contact Medical Council of Jamaica for further information on the CAMC exam.

• PLAB Parts I and II and the University must be listed in the World Health Organisation Directory of approved Medical Institutions. Only then can the applicant be considered for Provisional Registration.
